1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Paraph ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Paraph is a macOS application that enables you to design professional email signatures with a rich text editor, apply templates, and install signatures directly into Apple Mail. The App stores your data locally and syncs via your personal iCloud account.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Paraph on devices you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store terms.
4. Purchase and Payment
Paraph is a free download on the Mac App Store with an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock export and install features. Current pricing is available on the Mac App Store.
All payments are processed through the Mac App Store. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The content of the email signatures you create
- Ensuring your signatures comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintaining appropriate backups of your data
- Any use of your signatures in email communications
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Paraph to:
- Create signatures containing illegal content or materials
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
PARAPH IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee compatibility with all email clients or that signatures will render identically across all email platforms. You use the App at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF PARAPH.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of Paraph is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Paraph does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. Signature data is synced via Apple's CloudKit using your personal iCloud account.
10. Email Client Compatibility
Paraph installs signatures into Apple Mail. Rendering of email signatures varies across email clients and platforms. We do not guarantee that signatures will display identically in all email clients. The appearance of your signature in the recipient's email client depends on that client's HTML rendering capabilities.
11. Updates and Changes
We may update the App from time to time. Updates may be required to continue using the App. We may also modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using Paraph at any time by uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
